- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Patient ratio experience of 5 required; charting system experience required 2. Cases: Medical Surgical, Advanced Care, COPD, CHF, Sepsis, alcohol withdrawal, AFib, chest pain, TIA, sickle cell, syncope, observation patients; surgical population including joint replacements, mastectomy, hernia repairs, small bowel obstructions 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; IV Start and Telemetry required; must read and interpret tele strips; EKG/Dysrhythmia exam required within 72 hours of signing 4. License: Any state RN license accepted; compact license accepted; temp license available on offer (takes 5-10 days); facility does NOT accept any past license action 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend and holiday required; float to South Campus (Centerville, less than 10 miles) and North Campus (Englewood, less than 15 miles) if assigned to MVH; patient ratios 1:5 days, nights, and weekends; scheduling type listed as Other 8. RTO: No more than 14 days of RTO allowed, even if willing to extend contract; only one pre-approved time off; all RTO and schedule requests must be on the front page of the application at time of submittal — no RTO will be negotiated after offer 9.
