- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 1-2 years preferred, will accept first time travelers 2. Cases: High acuity patients including respiratory (BiPap, trachs), endocrine (DKA, HHS), sepsis, electrolyte imbalances, SI, drug overdose, alcohol withdrawal, liver failure/cirrhosis, GI bleed, pneumonia 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; will accept pending certifications if obtained prior to start 4. License: Valid state license must be pending or candidate must participate in Aya licensure project 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Days 0700-1900, 3x12; no call required but can pick up extra; every other weekend; 1 holiday per 13-week assignment 8. RTO: Maximum 10 days; if during holidays must work 1 of 3 holidays; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 years before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; will not accept locals 11. Background: Nursys only 12. Modules: Up to 8 hours completed pre-start within 1 week of signing; billable up to 8 hours, average 3-8 hours; self-reported 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
