- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years required; some Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience preferred 2. Cases: Stable chronic ventilators experience required; trach/vented patients, quadriplegics, brain injury, orthopedic injuries, multi-system problems; large wounds/dressing changes, chest tube placement, laceration repairs, abdominal wounds 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH required; PALS and TNCC preferred; IV Start preferred; must pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting; must be AHA (not explicitly stated); N95 fitting required before working on HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered 4. License: Current Nursys report required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour contract available; OT paid after 48 hours for 48-hour contracts; must be available every other weekend and holiday; traveler is first to float at Premier's discretion within specialty clusters; campus floating possible within 10-15 miles 8.
