- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of oncology experience preferred but NOT required; high acuity PCU patient experience required; acute care experience must be current/within the last 12 months and in the applying specialty (HARD STOP for pass) 2. Cases: Solid tumor, orthopedic oncology, thoracic oncology; heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls 3. Certifications: BCLS/BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; must be current 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour days/nights rotating or nights; first week orientation Mon-Fri dayshift; second week 36 hours on-unit with preceptor; self-schedule requests; float required to other PCU or Med Surg Oncology units; no call specified 8.
