Experience: 2 years required; must have Post Cardiac Surgery and Vascular Surgery experience; strong Cardiac Tele experience required; will consider nurses with 1+ years of recent experience in unit 2. Cases: Post Cardiovascular Surgery patients 17-24 hrs post-op including Coronary Artery Bypass, Mitral/Aortic Valve replacements, Carotid Endarterectomies, Femoral Artery repairs and stents, Endo AAA, Open AAA, Bi-Fem Repairs, LVADs, TAVRs, Pacer Lead revisions, Wound debridement, Lobectomies, Thoracotomies; drips include Insulin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Argatroban, Heparin, Nitroglycerin 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic EMR required; 1-year minimum experience 7. Shifts/Call: Self-scheduling; patient ratio 4:1 days, nights, and weekends; weekend coverage required; float required to Cardiac Tele and any other units AOD deems appropriate; orientation every Monday; orientation hours 24 8.
