- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; 1+ years of recent unit experience considered 2. Cases: Cardiac, Stroke, and Trauma experience required; skills include Abdomen w/wo contrast, Chest w/wo contrast, Head w/wo contrast, Pelvis w/wo contrast, Musculoskeletal trauma, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Starting Peripheral IVs, Preparation/administration of contrast media, PACS, Management/lead experience; equipment experience: GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba 3. Certifications: ARRT CT (required), ARRT R (required), BLS/CPR required; must be ARRT Registered and registered in CT; SCQRSA License required 4. License: SCQRSA License required 5. Education: Certification Program required; Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program 6. EMR: 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR required; Charting System experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12-hour shifts; Friday/Saturday/Sunday; 6:30pm-7:00am; Orientation every Monday; 36 orientation hours; floating to other units and/or campuses required per census needs 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Travelers cannot extend for a 4th consecutive contract; after 3 consecutive 13-week contracts (39 weeks), must convert to employee status or take a minimum 6-month separation before returning as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: CT/MRI/IR Techs must be 50+ miles from the relevant flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville); full BR at 100+ miles; 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction; under 50 miles is ineligible; general system rule is 100 miles from every Prisma facility; 90-99.9 miles accepted at 10% bill rate reduction 11. Background: Must send Social Security Number with submittal 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start, not included in NBO; completed annually; recorded in transcripts by Prisma Health; time not entered into timecards; must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login (login typically within 24 hours of contract signing) 13.
