- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers not accepted; 1:4 ratio experience required 2. Cases: Vents, trach, and G-tube experience required; chronic illness pediatric patients; no drips, surgical, or transitional patients 3. Certifications: BLS (BCLS) and PALS required; must be in hand at submission; Nursys required for RNs; copies of certifications required at submission 4. License: IL RN License required and must be active/in hand at time of submission; Compact RN Licenses not accepted in IL; IL RN License can take up to 3 months to issue; pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 accepted; every other weekend required; float within scope to meet facility needs; no on-call required; block schedule accommodated; guaranteed hours: 36hrs (3x12), 48hrs (4x12), 40hrs (sub-12hr shifts) 8. RTO: RTO must be approved and included in contract prior to start date; no RTO may be added after contract starts; one pre-approved RTO noted 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff at La Rabida or affiliated clinics will NOT be considered for travel assignments; do not submit if traveler previously worked as perm staff there 10.
