- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Surgical or trauma related patients 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license accepted (pending allowed, must have in-hand Wednesday before start date) 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 1:3 patient ratio; 36 or 48 hours available; days; every other weekend; block scheduling cannot be accommodated 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; cannot approve time off around July 4th; no additional RTO after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of separation 10. Travel/Local: This unit does not have 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed during orientation, recorded in Workday 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Must adhere to UVA float policy. Nursys verification required for submittal. References required.
