- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; First-time travelers accepted; Previous Charge RN experience preferred 2. Cases: Cardiac PCU experience required; focus on CHF, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Arrhythmias, pre/post cardiac catheterization, rule-out MI, syncope, pacemaker placement; secondary focus on respiratory (COPD, pneumonia, BiPAP) 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS/NIH preferred; all must be in hand at submission; Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs during compliance (2 attempts allowed; no study materials provided) 4. License: License in hand required at submission; current driver's license must be included to confirm address for local rule 5. Education: Third-party education verification required; facility will not accept education from schools on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, Nights, 1900-0730; weekend rotation; holidays as needed; self-assisted scheduling through Optilink over a 6-week period; all travelers subject to float to any Cone Health campus 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted; no time off that prevents compliance completion will be approved; compliance deadline is 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; no locals accepted; current driver's license required at submission to confirm address 11. Background: No open cases accepted on background check 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 2-4 hours; completed during orientation; not included in NBO; hours are unit-based and will vary 13. Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine: Required; medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes (Emerson, Pleur-evac), telemetry with remote monitoring via Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD); tracheostomy management; PICC line management Critical: Candidate must be aware of submission to Cone Health, zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences, Pass/Fail EKG exam requirement, and must be comfortable with 1:5 ratios (1:4 with drips/BiPAP). COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only.
