- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: All MS, MS Tele, and PCU diagnoses; patient population is adults to geriatrics 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; copies required at submission 4. License: GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; Pyxis and SBAR also listed 7. Shifts/Call: No call required; every other weekend required (average 6 weekends per 13-week contract); float required to all MS, MS Tele, and PCU units within the hospital; holiday work expected based on number of major holidays falling within assignment period 8. RTO: Max 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests accepted post-offer or onsite; if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler; if cancel or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10.
