- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: MS/Tele, Tele, and PCU/Stepdown required work settings; strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response; must be able to start IVs, manage Heparin protocols, manage cardiac drips (no titration) 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; Alabama license required 4. License: Alabama RN License required; pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Charting system experience required; any system accepted 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend (EOW); float to Med Surg units required; patient ratios 1:6 days, nights, and weekends 8.
