Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; must have experience working in an acute psych hospital with complex disorders, diagnoses, and treatments 2. Cases: Psychiatric acute care hospital ED; complex disorders including anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, suicidal behavior, self-injurious behavior, personality disorders, depressive disorders 3. Certifications: BLS required; CPI preferred (offered during orientation if candidate does not have it); must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: CA RN license required; in-state license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 shifts; no on-call required; every other weekend required; block schedule not guaranteed 8. RTO: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous charge experience required 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13.
