- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of specialty experience required 2. Cases: Postpartum, Antepartum with Fetal Monitoring, High Risk patient population, Newborns 2000gm and above, Late Preterm, Substance Exposed Newborns, Phototherapy, Magnesium drips, Insulin drips, Heparin drips, PCA & PCEA pumps 3. Certifications: BLS and NRP required 4. License: RN License - state or compact 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Rotating Nights, various days of week; Call required per unit needs 1-2 per 6-week schedule; Weekend requirement yes per unit needs; For nights: minimum 5 Friday/Saturdays, 2 Sundays per six-week schedule; Float required - Antepartum trained to float to L&D with fetal monitoring experience; Ratios 1:3 couplets or up to 6 patients 8. RTO: 10 RTO days max approved; RTO not allowed during: September 2-12, 2026; October 25-November 4, 2026; November 22-December 2, 2026; December 20-January 3, 2027 9.
