Travel Nurse (RN) PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) Baltimore, MD

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – PICU – Bloom 4

Shift: Rotating D/N, 7a-7p/7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs/week
Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• MD license
• 2 years’ current experience in Pediatric ICU
• At least 1 travel assignment
• BLS; PALS; ACLS
• EPIC preferred
• Critical Care Certification preferred
• Trauma course preferred

Other Details:

• Level 1 – Designated Burn, Trauma, and Eye center for State of Maryland
• Newborn to 21
• Patient to nurse ratio –   2:1 or 1:1
• Medical diagnoses include respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multiorgan failure, shock, toxic ingestions, ECMO; ventricular assist devices
• Surgeries include extensive general, cardiac, thoracic, transplants, orthopedic, neurologic procedures
• Continuous infusions and intermittent medications (Narcotics, vasopressors, diuretics, PN/IL), IVP, PCAs, PO, GT/JT
