- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years in acute hospital required; ICU background highly preferred; REDIRECT if no conscious or procedural sedation experience; conscious sedation certification highly preferred 2. Cases: Colonoscopy, EGD, therapeutic cases, pediatric cases (occasionally); must be proficient in intake, sedation, and post-procedure areas; portable/bedside travel cases is a HARDSTOP 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (not explicitly stated); Compliance EKG Exam required; conscious sedation certification highly preferred; Telemetry proficiency required — Relias test will be administered 4. License: Compact license accepted; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required — HARDSTOP 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days (0830-1900; may vary 0730-1800); 1-2 weekend/holiday on-call shifts per month; no block scheduling; facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period; float required within endoscopy procedural and pre/post areas 8. RTO: No more than 6 days total; cannot accommodate RTO during first 2 weeks 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff require 18 months separation before returning 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate; local radius rule listed as N/A 11. Background: Disclose any background hits at time of submission 12. Modules: Non-billable, completed pre-start; RN: 5-6 hours; Allied: 2-3 hours; if WA suicide prevention training is required, an additional 6 hours added for module pay; recorded via facility transcripts 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted; no travel experience explicitly required 14. Scrubs: Facility provided as needed, or own solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16.
