- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required for submission (Sutter general rule states minimum 2 years unless otherwise specified; this role requires 3) 2. Cases: Recovery patients after procedures; Phase I PACU and Phase II Recovery; wide range of surgical and procedural cases including cardiac, ortho, neuro, vascular, bariatrics, and more 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; PALS preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross; valid expiration dates required; copies uploaded at submission 4. License: Valid CA RN License required; Nursys upload within last 2 weeks required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Variable shift start times 0800, 0900, 1000, 1200; float required within department to Phase 2 recovery; no weekend shifts per contract 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; only 1 holiday per contract may be requested; holidays covered include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (holiday period begins 7:00 PM night before and ends 7:00 AM day after) 9.
