- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years preferred; must have experience recovering ortho, neuro, general, urology, dental (adults and peds), GYN, and peds ENT; experience with peds required and critical care strongly preferred; Level II trauma experience preferred 2. Cases: All surgeries except hearts; heavy volume of ortho, general, GYN, neuro, urology; peds patients (ENT, dental, ortho, etc.); experience monitoring patients with nerve blocks, chest tube insertions, central lines, intubation, and A-lines 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH required; must be in hand at submission 4. License: Pending license accepted at submission; must be active before start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Monday to Friday; call required 6-8 days per month (varies), self-scheduled; nurse will orient to Pre-Op Holding and float between Pre-Op and PACU as needed; minimum of 1 weekend shift per contract 8. RTO: RTO required with submission; expect to work some holidays; no pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; locals not accepted 11. Background: On-site drug screen conducted; panels include Amphetamine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, Meth, Methadone, Opiates, Oxycodone, PCP, Marijuana, and Buprenorphine; failure results in cancellation of assignment 12.
