- Unit Notes:Facility will conduct a phone interview after Medical Solutions profile review. ***CERNER IS A HARD REQUIREMENT - MUST HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH CERNER WITHIN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. ******Pass/fail Sim Lab is also required on Day 1 of orientation (study guides provided with first day instructions). *******Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of a position. Maximum attempts is 2: Required for: Ambulance Transport, Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, L&D, CVICU, EP Lab, ER, Helicopter Transport (Flight), House Supervisor, PACU/Recovery, PCU, PICU, Pre-op/PACU, Stepdown, Telemetry/IMC, Transitional ICU/TCU units.*** Unit: Pre/Post, PACU, Endo # beds: preop-12, PACU-12, Endo-15 Certs: BLS, ACLS, PALS Ratios: 2pt/1RN EMR: Cerner Charge Nurse: Pre-Kim, PACU-Rose, Endo-Erin (1 in each location) Nurse Aides: Pre- 2PCT, PACU-1PCT, Endo-endo tech in rooms Weekend: Call Requirement 5-6 call shifts per 4 week schedule period. 3 week night shifts 10:30p-7a and 3 x12 hour weekend call shifts. Both am and pm Holidays: Rotation of call requirements Scrub Color: Dark blue Tele: Pre, PACU, Endo all required Vents: PACU Required Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes IV Team: ATU helps out with Lines when needed RT 24/7: yes available Pharmacy 24/7: yes available Shifts: 4x10 hour shifts varied between (0530-2200) Floating - Periop locations: Pre-op/PACU/Endo Floor specific orientation: Yes Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Pre and Post-surgical patients, General, ortho, spine, gyn, endo, vascular, cysto Additional Notes: Some call shifts required, usually 6 per month. Cancellation Policy:Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes Trauma Level: Care Setting:Acute Division:Nursing Shift Notes:4-10 hour shifts (start time will be around 0800) + call (see call notes) Required Certifications:ACLS, BLS Certification, PALS
