- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years OR experience required; first-time travelers not accepted; travel experience required 2. Cases: General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, Plastics — all HARDSTOPS; scrubbing spine from Level 1 trauma center preferred; helpful to have CT, TX, burn, Ortho, Sports Med/Hand/Foot/Ankle, and vascular but not required 3. Certifications: AHA BLS required; Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center experience — HARDSTOP; must be able to circulate emergent craniotomy — HARDSTOP 4. License: CO RN License or Compact RN License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required — HARDSTOP 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour shifts, 0645 starts with occasional float to 0845 and 1045 starts; works Saturday/Sunday plus one variable weekday; no on-call required; float to other UCH ORs required; no blocked scheduling requests 8. RTO: 10 RTO days max per 13-week contract; RTO not allowed June 28-July 9, 2026; September 2-12, 2026; October 25-November 4, 2026; November 22-December 2, 2026; December 20-January 3, 2027 (flexibility may be considered for harder-to-fill positions) 9. Returning Staff: Any resource who completed a full year on assignment must not be rebooked for at least one year; candidates who applied to UCHealth internal travel or perm staff jobs within the last two years will be placed on DNU list 10. Travel/Local: Local bill rate is $96 if candidate lives less than 75 miles from facility 11. Background: If candidate has applied to UCHealth internal travel or perm positions within the last two years, they are ineligible and will be flagged via HR review daily 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 4 hours; factored into 20 NBO hours; must be completed within the first week of assignment; instructions provided during NEO; recorded by facility/report or transcript 13. Travel Experience: Required; no first-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Spine scrubbing from Level 1 trauma center preferred; helpful to have experience with CT, TX, burn, Ortho, Sports Med/Hand/Foot/Ankle, and vascular Critical: Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center experience, Epic, General/GU/GYN/Neuro/ENT/Plastics case experience, and ability to circulate emergent craniotomy are all HARDSTOPS.
