- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required (3 preferred with surgical procedure experience); compliance notes state minimum 1 year required 2. Cases: ENT, General, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics (General, GYN, Urology - Da Vinci Xi), Spine, Total Joints, Urology, Vascular, CABG/Open Hearts; extensive surgical skills list required (see unit details); DO NOT pass clinician if missing required skills 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; LA fire card required within last 30 days (not reimbursed) 4. License: CA RN license must be in hand at time of submission; pending license not accepted; must disclose any license hits upfront 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour variable shifts, Sunday-Saturday; shift times vary (0630-1900, 0930-2200, 1030-2300); on-call estimated 70-90 hours per 6-week period; weekend and holiday call required; facility may call off once per two-week pay period 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submission; Aya and client offer 7 days each (more than 7 days may delay offer); must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose if previously worked at any Providence facility (as permanent employee, traveler, or registry/per-diem), including location and dates 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower bill rate; bill rate is firm; all travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours 11. Background: Must disclose all license/background hits upfront at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completed pre-start and annually; self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts 13.
