- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year of outpatient oncology experience required; ambulatory care preferred 2. Cases: Oncology experience required; includes ports, chemotherapy administration, BMT, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, stem cell therapies, neutropenic precautions, and related oncology skills 3. Certifications: BLS required; OCN preferred; all certifications required at time of submission unless otherwise specified 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience preferred; 4 hours of non-billable EPIC training required pre-start 7. Shifts/Call: 7:30a-6:30p, 4x10s; no weekends or holidays (must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays unless otherwise specified); will float among clinics within skillset; nurses partnered with specific tumor group on specific days 8. RTO: Less than 7 days of RTO and no holiday time off prioritized; screenshot of confirmed RTO required at submission; RTO requested after offer will NOT be accommodated; no schedule changes once onsite 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must be gone from the RWJBH health system a minimum of 1 year before eligible to return for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits NOT accepted; any international work history or permanent residency must be disclosed 12. Modules: Non-billable; RN average 18 hours; 4 hours EPIC training; completed pre-start and annually; recorded via transcripts, self-reporting, and facility reporting; failing competency exams require a 6-month break before re-submission 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Business casual; scrubs are acceptable 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing. References required. Maximum of 3 submissions per candidate per facility. SSN and DOB required at submission. MSP contracted travelers require 14-day cancellation notice; Crisis/Rapid contracted travelers require 10-day notice. Missed shifts must be made up within the same pay period.
