- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3+ years in specialty required; 1+ years required for submission; travel experience preferred 2. Cases: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi; trauma, chest pain, abdominal pain, sepsis, SOB, psych 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN (in hand), PALS, NIH required; travelers allowed to get certifications before starting 4. License: NY license required; submit with recent Nursys 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Must be willing to float; weekend coverage required 8. RTO: Preferred 7 days or less; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Permanent staff cannot return as traveler within a year 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Client will not clear without SSN; will not clear with pending SSN or work authorization 12. Modules: 6 hours for Critical Care/ED; billable; minimum 3-hour orientation with 6-hour max 13. Travel Experience: Preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
