Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Hematology/Oncology 3. Certifications: ONS required (attach cert with submittal); BLS required, ACLS preferred; can submit with ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy cert pending if completed before start 4. License: VA license accepted pending but must have in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hours available; every other weekend, every other holiday; 3 weekend shifts per contract 8. RTO: Maximum 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; no additional RTO approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; requires one year separation and UVA leadership approval; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of time off 10. Travel/Local: No mile radius rule for this unit; must adhere to UVA's float policy 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12.
