- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years acute care required 2. Cases: Oncology/GYN-ONC/Palliative/Med Tele unit; skills include chemotherapy administration, port management, neutropenic precautions, continuous infusion, IV push chemo, and extensive oncology-specific competencies; Oncology skills checklist required 3. Certifications: BLS required; Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required; OCN preferred not required; CO or Compact RN license required 4. License: Colorado RN license or Compact RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Nights; various days of the week; weekends required (6 shifts per 6 weeks); floating required within scope and may include sister facilities; no on-call required; ratios 1:4 days, 1:5 nights with potential flex up 8. RTO: 10 RTO days max per 13-week contract; no RTO during: June 28-July 9, 2026; September 2-12, 2026; October 25-November 4, 2026; November 22-December 2, 2026; December 20-January 3, 2027; no blocked scheduling requests; flexibility may be considered for harder-to-fill positions 9. Returning Staff: Candidates who applied to UCHealth internal travel or permanent staff positions within the last 2 years will not be considered and are placed on DNU list; any resource who completed a full year on assignment must not be rebooked for at least one year 10. Travel/Local: Local bill rate is $85 if candidate lives less than 75 miles from facility 11.
