- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years Level III NICU required for submission; VMS notes list 1 year minimum 2. Cases: Level III NICU; skills required include NICU III, NICU IV, Neonates < 24-28 weeks, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), NG/NJ tube placement and management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Arterial line management, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, UAC, UVC, IV vasopressors, Surfactants, Steroids, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP required 4. License: Pending license noted; state-specific license implied for OR facilities (Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: On-call required as agreed upon by RN; weekends required every other; block schedules not required; 48-hour shifts approved; self-scheduling; patient ratio 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 8.
