- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 3 years required in a Level 3 or 4 ICN; do not submit if less than 3 years of NICU experience 2. Cases: Premature infants (as low as 22 weeks), all types of surgical infants, hypoxic injury; special procedures include therapeutic hypothermia, nitric oxide, UAC/UVC, PCLs, Broviac, trachs, GTT, ostomies 3. Certifications: BLS and NRP required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36 hours only; 12-hour nights (18:45-07:15); no call requirement; float to Peds/PICU/nursery caring for infants up to and including 12 months; weekend requirement of 3 Fridays, 3 Saturdays, and 3 Sundays per 6-week period; self-scheduling per unit needs; 24 hours of unit orientation 8. RTO: 7 days max for AYA Auto Offer; RTO after booking is NOT allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO on unit could result in cancellation and DNR 9.
