- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years recent NICU experience required; Level 3 or 4 NICU experience REQUIRED 2. Cases: NICU; patient population is Neonates; NICU IV and Pediatrics skills required 3. Certifications: PALS (AHA Only) required; BLS required; NRP preferred; copies/license in hand required at time of submittal 4. License: License in hand required at submittal; GA release needed within 24 hours of signing; license verification must be in within 72 hours of offer 5. Education: BSN preferred, not required 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; Charting System Experience listed as Required 7. Shifts/Call: Days; every weekend (Sat/Sun + 1 weekday shift); float required to other departments at AMBH and cross campus to SR NICU (must be included in contract); all float locations within 12-mile radius; must be willing to work either day of Christmas or day before/day after Christmas 8. RTO: Minimal to no RTO; RTO dates must be submitted at time of submission; only one holiday will be considered 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Float includes possible float to sister campuses within 12-mile radius 11. Background: CHOA tests for cotinine/nicotine; nicotine-free campus; no smoking allowed 12. Modules: Compliance hard doc due date is 7 business days prior to start, no exceptions; med pass/fail test given — RN will be canceled if second test is not passed 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted if resume suggests needed skills 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required — No Exemptions 16.
