- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; at least 1 year in specialty (NICU Level III experience required, hard stop) 2. Cases: Prematurity, Feeders and Growers, RDS, NAS, Sepsis, Hypoglycemia, Jaundice; central lines, ROP exams, spinal taps, intubations; titrate Dopamine and Dobutamine; manage PICC lines and mid lines; Fentanyl and Versed 3. Certifications: BCLS, NRP Advanced (will allow NRP if willing to obtain advanced before start), PALS required; copies should be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: Not explicitly stated 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; weekends every other, may exceed to meet unit needs; block schedule not accommodated; guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered 8.
