- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: MED/Surg, Telemetry; patient diagnoses include dementia, diabetes, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture, CHF, UTI, surgical recovery, renal failure, hypertension, cellulitis, failure to thrive 3. Certifications: BLS required; must pass EKG Testing prior to start 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required (listed under unit systems); Epic experience preferred per preferred skills 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour NIGHTS; 36 or 48 hours accepted; 13-26 week contracts; floating required; weekend requirement 12-16 shifts per contract; contract staff must be available for Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team during catastrophic events; scheduling based on unit needs 8. RTO: 7 days MAX; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite; call-offs or additional RTO could result in cancellation and DNR; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; rate difference applies; accepts first-time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12.
