Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR### **THIS IS A NEURO UNIT** REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years Minimum Experience REQUIRED Traveler Experience: Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st time Travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: Teamwork approach to patient care, Focus on patient safety Certs: ACLS and BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: NIH, Neuro exp preferred, Experience/willing to learn the charge nurse role preferred JOB DETAILS: **THIS IS A NEURO UNIT** Ratios: 1:6 Shift: NIGHTS; 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. 13-26 weeks accepted ***RTO: 7 DAYS MAX for AYA AUTO OFFER*** Float Requirement: yes, travelers float first Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend) **Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur, and the contract staff may be pre-assigned to units as needed. Must be able to adhere to Call off policy -STRONGLY ENFORCED. #Tier2 Travel Compliance Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing. All testing must be completed within 48 hours. Submission Process : All units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review Submission Details : Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed. Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission. Local candidates ( 50 miles) : Lower rate applies. RTO : Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing. NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal. Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description. Travel pairs : Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed). Charting : See job description. References can be pending at submission. Modules : Pre-start modules are non-billable, time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours.
