- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: General medicine with focus on neuro; CVA, dysrhythmias management 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS preferred; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license (pending OK for submittal) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours accepted; 1:6-7 ratios; 5-6 weekend shifts required; floating required 8. RTO: 7 days maximum auto-approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO first week; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months; disclosure required with hospital name/dates 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate; first-time travelers accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours required 13. Travel Experience: Unit will accept first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy blue required, not provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16.
