- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; must have 3+ years nursing experience in cardiac step down, ICU, or cardiac procedural area 2. Cases: CDL (Cardiac Diagnostic Lab) - variety of cardiac testing and administers echocardiogram image enhancement "contrast" for cardiac sonographers; previous cardiac stress testing experience preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; must be BLS/ACLS certified 4. License: MO or compact license (submit without license OK for MO); IL license in hand required at time of submittal; compact must match permanent residence 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Four 10 hr shifts 0700-1730 per week (M-F) with rotating day off; may participate in SAT rotation 0730-1600, approximately one SAT every five weeks; no on-call required 8. RTO: Max of 7 days of RTO (7+ days requires manager approval, along with any holiday RTO); no new RTO after submission; no RTO allowed the first week of assignment; 2 requests allowed 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with a 3-month break in service required; permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius; no local travelers allowed except for Patient Care Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, and Medical Assistants 11. Modules: Required for RNs; billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be started within 1 week of signed contract and completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13.
