Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; accepts first-time travelers 2. Cases: Medical-surgical patients with oncology history; chemotherapy administration; DKA, AKI, sepsis, cancer, septic shock, malignant neoplasms 3. Certifications: BLS required; chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) required; oncology certification (OCN) preferred; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license; pending license OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Night shifts; call required if called off on pre-scheduled shift; every other weekend required 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto-approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; no additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Navy blue and white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16.
