Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med/Surg/Surgical Specialty

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

• OK/Compact license
• 1 year of experience
• Must have acute care surgical floor experience
• ENT and/or Transplant Experience
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• AHA BLS
• Stepdown/PCU experience preferred
• Transplant experience preferred
• Preceptor and charge experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred

Other Details:

• This is a med/surg unit. Will not accept OR candidates
• 4W Surgical Transplant is a mixed stepdown and acute care floor which cares for post-surgical kidney, liver and pancreas transplant patients
• They also care for pre-transplant patients who are being evaluated for a transplant during their inpatient stay
• Patients require close monitoring for infection, rejection, and timely medication delivery
• The unit is a mix of MS and SD just as the Surgical side is
• Any nurse on this floor will either work MS or SD dependent on the availability of nurses
• If short and ICU nurses are floated down, they will work the SD patients based on acuity and skill set
