Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg/Surgical Specialty

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

OK/Compact license
1 year of experience
Must have acute care surgical floor experience
ENT and/or Transplant Experience
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
AHA BLS
Stepdown/PCU experience preferred
Transplant experience preferred
Preceptor and charge experience preferred
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred

Other Details:

This is a med/surg unit. Will not accept OR candidates
4W Surgical Transplant is a mixed stepdown and acute care floor which cares for post-surgical kidney, liver and pancreas transplant patients
They also care for pre-transplant patients who are being evaluated for a transplant during their inpatient stay
Patients require close monitoring for infection, rejection, and timely medication delivery
The unit is a mix of MS and SD just as the Surgical side is
Any nurse on this floor will either work MS or SD dependent on the availability of nurses
If short and ICU nurses are floated down, they will work the SD patients based on acuity and skill set
