Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required; first-time travelers not accepted 2. Cases: Med/Surg, Telemetry, Ortho, Short Stay/23-hour unit; Teaching and Community hospital experience preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; must be in hand at submission 4. License: Active TN RN license or multistate required; SC license noted in certifications field 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights (1845-0715); floating required to like units based on skill set; every other weekend coverage (may change based on need) 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Travelers cannot extend for a 4th consecutive contract; after 3 consecutive 13-week contracts (39 weeks), traveler must begin converting to employee status or take a minimum 6-month separation before returning as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: Must be 100+ miles from every Prisma facility for full bill rate; 90-99.9 miles accepted at 10% bill rate reduction; 60-mile local radius applies to CRNAs only 11. Background: Must send Social Security Number with submittal 12. Modules: Pre-assignment testing and modules required; must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login (typically within 24 hours of contract signing); billable up to 16 hours; completed annually; recorded in Prisma Health transcripts; not entered into timecards 13. Travel Experience: Required; first-time travelers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine: Required — No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Omnicell medication system Critical: Orientation is every Monday. Social Security Number must be submitted with submittal.
