Certifications: BCLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred; BLS, ACLS, and PALS (if required by unit) must be through AHA; copies must be included in submittal packet 4. License: WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission; Nursys pulled within 2 days of submission date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: CPSI noted in job details; Cerner noted in submission requirements 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 or 4x12 nights, weekdays, some weekends, float, and holidays; must be willing to work Christmas; 18-bed Critical Access Hospital 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler; current Vandalia Health System employees (perm, PRN, etc.) are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system (includes CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) 10. Travel/Local: Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate 11. Background: Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Non-billable; average completion time 2-6 hours; completed prior to start date; requirements vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: Preferred 14.
