- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required (conflicting information shows 1 year in submittal details) 2. Cases: General med/surg adult patients, cardiac patients on antiarrhythmic drips, neuro patients post-TIA/CVA 3. Certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIH required; ACLS (AHA) preferred 4. License: Valid Michigan license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting software 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hour weeks available; work every other weekend; no call; may float to other med/surg departments and ED waiting room 8. RTO: Not specified beyond general mention 9. Returning Staff: 6 months return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate with no radius restrictions; travelers are first to float; accepts first time travelers 11. Background: Must note any background hits on profile and submission prior to submission 12. Modules: 8 hours non-billable, completed during orientation and annually, self-reported 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Hunter green scrubs required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only; proof required with submission; exemption requests must be submitted within 48 hours of signing contract 16. Special Equipment: Remote and wall mount telemetry, bladder scanner, vein light, iPop Critical: Telemetry experience preferred. Patient ratios 1:4-6. Must schedule lab work within 48-72 hours of signing. 18 bed unit serving adults and geriatrics. RNs maintain antiarrhythmic medication drips, insulin drips for DKA, and perform NIHSS.
