Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 18 months ICU experience required; 2 years preferred. Must have experience with cardiac and neuro patients as ICU is mixed with both. 2. Cases: Cardiac and neuro patients required 3. Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS must have at time of submittal; NIHSS must obtain prior to start 4. License: No license hits accepted; no pending licenses accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required at level 3 or 4 7. Shifts/Call: Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles; guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12s or 40 hours for 8/10s 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission only; facility will not review RTO submitted after this time 9. Returning Staff: Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Facility does not accept any license hits 12. Modules: 6-15 hours average, non-billable, completed pre-start and annually via SilkRoad; time sensitive modules need to be prioritized first 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: White scrubs required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Various CVICU equipment including IABP, arterial lines, central lines, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP Critical: Smoke free facility - all travelers must be nicotine free with negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen. EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum. Two references from direct supervisor/manager required.
