- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required 2. Cases: Orthopedic, Med/Surg, Telemetry monitoring, total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties, shoulder repairs, neck/back surgeries, inpatient and 24-hour observation patients; unit also accommodates ED patients with high acuity 3. Certifications: BLS required; all RNs required to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed; study material not provided) 4. License: License in hand required at submission; current driver's license must be included to confirm address for local rule 5. Education: Education verification through a third-party required; facility will not accept education from schools on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit list 6. EMR: Epic experience REQUIRED 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, Days, 7a-7:30p; every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday); no call; float required as needed to any Cone Health campus; Charge RN shifts required as needed 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted; pre-approved time off listed as two 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; no locals accepted; current driver's license must be submitted to confirm address 11. Background: Facility will not accept any open cases on the background check 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 2-4 hours; completed during orientation, not included in NBO; hours vary by unit 13. Travel Experience: Previous travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only; COVID-19 vaccine also required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: CPMs, Buck's Traction (occasional), neck and back braces Critical: Compliance full file due by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date. Charge RN experience is required. All RNs must pass an EKG exam regardless of specialty. Patient ratio experience of 5-6 required.
