- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Med/Surg experience required; PCU experience required (travelers will float across MS and PCU units) 2. Cases: Stroke, Hyperglycemia, Chest Pain, AMS, Renal Failure, Afib, and most medical diagnoses; Stroke Unit and Pediatrics noted 3. Certifications: BLS/BCLS and NIHSS required; AHA only; copies confirmed at job level 4. License: SC (South Carolina) RN License required; valid state license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech; experience preferred but not required for all positions 7. Shifts/Call: 3 nights; weekdays, every other weekend, float, holidays as needed; patient ratios 1:5 days / 1:6 nights and weekends; scheduling is self-schedule; orientation is 24 hours 8. RTO: Must be approved prior to assignment start; minimal to no RTO; RTO not on submittal and not discussed at interview will not be approved; preferably no RTO in first weeks of assignment; only one pre-approved RTO per contract 9. Returning Staff: Must have been gone at least 1 year and must have been in good standing at time of departure 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius restriction; locals NOT accepted 11. Background: Facility will not accept any license or background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 8 hours; completed pre-start or during orientation; factored into NBO; self-reported 13. Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required; Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed 16.
