- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year Med/Surg experience required; 2 years preferred 2. Cases: General medical diagnosis, gastrointestinal, urological, gynecological surgeries, ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary patients 3. Certifications: BLS (AHA) required, NIHSS; will accept pending BLS with confirmation of willingness to obtain 4. License: Valid Michigan RN License required (pending license acceptable with ETA) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48 hour weeks available; work every other weekend; will float to other Med Surg units 8. RTO: Holiday coverage required; RTO during holidays must remain flexible; cannot guarantee block scheduling 9. Returning Staff: 6 months return policy 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate with no radius restrictions; travelers are first to float 11. Background: Must note any background hits on profile and submission prior to submission 12. Modules: 8 hours, non-billable, completed during orientation and annually, self-reported 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical exemptions only; must include proof with submission or submit exemption within 48 hours of signing 16.
