- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: OB Triage, Antepartum and Delivery care for 32 weeks and above; high-risk deliveries; C-section recovery; sterile vaginal exams; triage of obstetrical patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate AWHONN, and FHM all required; must be in hand at time of submission unless otherwise specified; can be obtained prior to start date 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; 4 hours of non-billable Epic training included in modules 7. Shifts/Call: 24 hours on-call every 4 weeks; every third weekend required (8 weekend shifts per contract); floats to OR and PACU within skillset; ratios 1:2 days, nights, and weekends 8. RTO: Less than 7 days of RTO and no holiday time off will be prioritized; must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays; RTO requested after offer will NOT be accommodated; screenshot of candidate confirming RTO requests required at submission 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must be gone from the RWJBH health system a minimum of 1 year before eligible to return for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits NOT accepted; any international work history or permanent residency must be disclosed 12. Modules: RN average 18 hours non-billable; 4 hours Epic training; completed pre-start and annually; recorded by transcripts, self-reporting, and facility reporting 13. Special Equipment: Novii Critical: Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing. References required. Maximum of 3 submissions per candidate per facility.
