Experience: Minimum 3-5 years required — NO EXCEPTIONS; 2 years required in high acuity and high-pace environment; 5 years of high-risk experience highly preferred but will consider 3+ years with high-risk experience; 1st timers accepted 2. Cases: High Risk/High Volume L&D — all types; 4 ORs; Midwifery clients, private OBs, Adult Recovery Services supporting substance recovery, Community care clinics; Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate; must circulate and provide NB care including eyes, Vitamin K injections, thighs, and newborn assessments — HARD STOP, do not screen if candidate lacks these skillsets; functions as Baby Nurse during delivery and continues newborn care until transfer to postpartum — HARD STOP 3. Certifications: Required: BLS, NRP; Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate; proof of required certs must accompany submission 4. License: Active compact license honored at all Swedish facilities; Nursys required — do not submit without proof of current Nursys 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic — HARD STOP; electronic fetal monitoring experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Schedule posted every 6 weeks to meet unit needs; work every other weekend and holidays as needed; float required to Postpartum/Antepartum and may float to sister facilities that do Mother/Baby; staffing follows AWHONN guidelines 8. RTO: Pre-approved time off considered on a case-by-case basis 9. Returning Staff: Perm candidates from any non-Swedish Providence facility eligible for travel contract if separated for at least 3 months 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11.
