- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 3 years labor and delivery required 2. Cases: Adult women of childbearing age; 175 births per month 3. Certifications: BLS and NRP required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required - hardstop; must call out if no Epic experience 7. Shifts/Call: Nights, 3x12 or 4x12 acceptable; weekend coverage required; no call 8. RTO: 1 week max, must work holidays; minimal RTO, cannot accommodate during first 2 weeks 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff requires 18 months separation 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate; first-time travelers accepted only with 3+ years L&D experience 11. Background: Must disclose any hits when submitted 12. Modules: RN 5-6 hours, non-billable, completed pre-start; additional 6 hours if WA suicide prevention required 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years L&D experience 14. Scrubs: Any color; scrubs provided for OR personnel 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Float within hospital required. Unit has 7 labor beds, 3 triage, 2 PACU, 16 mother-baby. Two references required at submittal. Patient ratios 1:1. 12-hour orientation.
