- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3+ years of recent experience required; seasoned travelers only 2. Cases: Must know L&D, triage, and postpartum; patient diagnoses include PIH and NAS; RN will cover all areas of OB including newborn care 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP required; CLC and Stable preferred; must be able to circulate for C-section, perform sterile vaginal exams, and triage obstetrical patients 4. License: Valid MT or Compact RN license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: On-call required max once per pay period with 30-minute callback time; weekends every other weekend; float within facility per unit needs; no 48-hour schedules approved; self-scheduling 8. RTO: All RTO must be listed at time of submittal; post-submission RTO will NOT be approved; inflexibility may lead to contract termination and system DNR; one pre-approved time off slot; holiday coverage required (Summer: at least one of Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day; Winter: at least one holiday pair — Thanksgiving/Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas/Christmas Eve, or New Year's/New Year's Eve) 9. Returning Staff: Return Providence staff must wait 3 months before submitting as traveler; candidate must disclose any prior work at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem), including location and dates 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower bill rate; all travelers should be prepared to float within the facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completed pre-start and annually; self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts 13.
