- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required, HARD STOP; minimum 1 year also referenced; no first-time travelers accepted, HARD STOP; large hospital setting experience highly preferred; seasoned experienced traveler sought 2. Cases: Must be able to circulate for C-section, perform sterile vaginal exams, assist with vaginal and high-risk deliveries; patient diagnoses include labor, preterm labor, hypertension, multiples, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, fetal anomalies, IUFD, pyelonephritis, diabetes; procedures include Cesarean section, D&C, Cerclage, Version 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate required; AWHONN Advanced preferred; NCC EFM Cert accepted in place of Intermediate AWHONN; all must be in hand at submission 4. License: CA RN license must be in hand; pending license not accepted; no open license hits will be approved 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Days, 07:00-19:30; weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs; scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered; facility has ability to call off once per pay period (2 weeks); must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD); travelers expected to float between all facilities within a given state 8. RTO: All RTO submitted at time of submittal; max 7 days (anything more may delay offer and requires client approval); must commit to 3 of 5 holidays; one pre-approved time off per contract per unit details 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose any previous work at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission; travel pairs not considered 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower bill rate; bill rate is firm; can only submit to one Providence facility at a time 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits upfront at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved; SSN and DOB required 12. Modules: Average 16 hours, non-billable; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completed pre-start and annually; time is self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required; no first-time travelers, HARD STOP 14. Scrubs: RNs wear Navy Blue; L&D/OR scrubs provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: External Fetal Monitoring (EFM); NCC EFM Cert accepted in place of Intermediate AWHONN Critical: LA fire card required within the last 30 days (not reimbursed by Aya or facility). 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process prior to start; charge RNs/leads acceptable. Candidate must respond at submission to whether they have previously worked at any Providence facility. Do not pass clinician if missing required skills or experience.
