Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; minimum 1 year required; prefer experience at facility with minimum 200 deliveries per month 2. Cases: Experience circulating for cesarean sections in operating room required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA Fire Card required; LA fire card within last 30 days required 4. License: CA state license required; must be in hand 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; patient ratios 1:2 days, nights, and weekends 8. RTO: RTO must be included at time of submission; 7 days maximum; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose previous Providence facility employment 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Must disclose license/background hits at submission; no open license hits approved 12. Modules: Non-billable, average 16 hours; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires approval 13. Travel Experience: First-timers accepted; all travelers expected to float between facilities within state 14. Scrubs: Any color; L&D and OR provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: 24-hour orientation required. Two references covering 1 year within last 3 years required. Manager prefers not to have candidates from teaching facilities only. Facility can call off once per two-week pay period.
