- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required; pediatric experience required; preferred experience in cardiothoracic surgery and scrubbing in CT procedures 2. Cases: Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, Tetralogy of Fallot, Double Outlet Right Ventricle, Dextrocardia, other congenital cardiac and great vessel malformations 3. Certifications: Copy of certifications required in submission profile, including any/all nursing certifications 4. License: Single State OH or Multi State License required; valid state license required at time of submission; no previous license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12 call days per week; two 48-hour weekend call shifts every 8 weeks; 30-minute response time required; candidates will float within hospital, potentially to Liberty campus 8. RTO: Required at time of submittal, cannot exceed 5 days total; maximum of 5 RTO days allowed; no block scheduling requests permitted unless requesting weekends only 9. Returning Staff: Previous CCHMC employees ineligible to apply for 1 year from termination date 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; travelers within 50 miles considered local with local rates 11. Background: No previous license hits; additional background check and fingerprinting required onsite on first day 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions; COVID-19 vaccine not required 16.
