- Unit Notes:Hospital in Central Minnesota is looking for a L&D/MedSurg RN for a travel assignment. Primary responsibility is working in the L&D unit but MUST also do postpartum/nursery/mother-baby couplet care and take patient assignment floating on Medical/Surgical unit. # Beds- 4 and 2 overflow # births per Month 8 to 15 Certs- ACLS, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP Ratios- Active labor 1:1; triage 1: 3-4 Weekend Requirement- every 3rd (Fri, Sat, Sun) Call Requirement -none Holidays-every third holiday (could be more to fill the needs of the facility)--rotate with perm staff. Scrub Color- Any color/pattern - MUST be clean, not torn, good condition. Shifts 7-7 respectively C-section experience required - MUST be comfortable prepping but not required to assist (will be responsible for baby post-delivery) Floating - Med Surg must be able to take an assignment of 3-4 (maybe 5) on night shifts Floor specific orientation- 2-3 depending on comfort Cancellation Policy:Due to fluctuating census, the hospital may cancel RNs up to 2 times every 6 weeks.
